Thomas Tuchel and Bayern Munich's 'energy' surged after their victory over Leipzig

Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel hopes to improve on his team's last-gasp win over Leipzig in Freiburg on Friday.

Bayern's three-game losing streak stopped last Sunday with Harry Kane's stoppage-time goal.

It's been a good week," Tuchel told reporters. Everyone benefits from a win, especially a late one. It's boosted our confidence and mood.

We've had a good week with consistent message. We're continuing. Tomorrow requires readiness. The present is more important than ever."

Bayern are eight points behind Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen, thus their season likely depends on beating Lazio 1-0 in the Champions League second game on Tuesday.

"The match is before Lazio," Tuchel said. Totally different match.

A winning match is the finest preparation. We must improve. An increase versus Leipzig gave us energy.

I think we'll win tomorrow, but we must focus. Freiburg is always tough.
