The Switch will launch with Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Luigi's Mansion 2 HD.

Nintendo announced release dates for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, two Switch-remastered classics, on Mario Day.

Both games were introduced at Nintendo Direct last fall.

Both Paper Mario and Luigi's Mansion are $60 pre-orders on the Nintendo Switch store due May 23 and June 27, respectively.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door was published for the GameCube 20 years ago, and Nintendo says the Switch version will include “revamped graphics,...

....and a suite of additional changes that make the game easier than ever to enjoy.”

Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, formerly Dark Moon, debuted on the 3DS in 2013. That leaves the first Switch Luigi's Mansion to wait for.

Besides the games' release dates, Nintendo revealed a sequel to The Super Mario Bros.

The release date is 2026. Lego and Nintendo also revealed the Bowser Express Train, King Boo's Haunted Mansion, and Battle with Roy in Peach's Castle Lego sets for this year and a Mario Kart set for 2025.
