Sydney Sweeney To Host ‘SNL’ Tonight, Who Is the Musical Guest?

Saturday Night Live has featured a number of hosts since its inception in 1975. And, as the show progresses into history, the opportunity to host might be stressful.

While some may feel the pressure, tonight's host, Sydney Sweeney, has spent the last 15 years appearing on dramas like Sharp Objects and The Handmaid's Tale.

While audience members watch Sweeney do several acts throughout the evening, Kacey Musgraves prepares to take the stage as the musical guest.

The country artist, like the presenter, has a lot of experience performing in front of live audiences. Musgraves' sixth album, Deeper Well, will be available on March 15.

Although she is excited to share new music with her fans, she will also kick off her Deeper Well World Tour in April. Musgraves worked in the music industry for nearly 25 years, using her time on Nashville Star to build a career that resulted in seven Grammy Awards.

Musgraves talked about her next album for Apple Music 1 and how she focuses on connecting with her fans. "I honestly believe that vulnerability is the most powerful kind of connection.

So, on the one hand, I believe there is practically never any mystery left in life, especially for artists. At the same time, we want to connect."
