Selena Gomez Hints About Final Album: "I'm worn out."

Selena Gomez has alluded to her musical career coming to an end. The singer and actress revealed during an appearance on the SmartLess podcast that she may decide to stop making music after her upcoming album in order to concentrate entirely on acting.

"I got really into music and then touring was a lot of fun," Gomez said to hosts Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes.

However, I continued because I was having so much fun working on Wizards of Waverly Place, my TV show, at the same time. However, as I get older, I find myself saying things like, "I'd like to find something to just settle on."

"I feel like I have one more album in me," she said, adding, "but acting is probably my first choice." She said, "You're right, but I am going to want to chill because I am tired,"

after the hosts complimented her talent and pointed out that she didn't have to choose one over the other.

Gomez also talked about the toll that her intense workload had on her as a rising star in the field.

She recalled, "I canceled one of my tours and went to a mental institute." "It simply got to me because I enjoy working and use it as a diversion from negative things."

She thought back to her successful run on Wizards of Waverly Place on the Disney Channel, which paved the way for her unforeseen musical career.
