Lainey Wilson's Oklahoma Audience Goes Ga Ga Over Randy Travis's Appearance With Her

Country music may be cool again thanks to Lainey Wilson.

But the former Hannah Montana imitation remembers who made the genre fashionable for her.

The “Bell Bottom Country” singer also gets starstruck.

As she introduced Randy Travis at a March 8 performance at WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma, Wilson, 31, became emotional

Wilson stated, “I want to introduce to the stage one of my heroes, one of the reasons I fell in love with country music, a dear friend of mine now.”

You give it up for the one, the only, country music legend Randy Travis.”

In July 2013, Travis, 64, had a life-threatening stroke that ended his singing career and left him wheelchair-bound.

Wilson took over the wheelchair from Mary, the “He Walked on Water” singer's wife, with reverence.
