Introducing the DC Extended Universe's New Rogues Gallery: 10 of Batman's Most Notorious Enemies

The DCU's top heroes and villains, including Batman's wide and renowned rogues gallery, are eagerly awaited. Most of the DCU's confirmed cast is 2025's Superman, which began filming in late February.

Age hurts Willem Dafoe, a favorite Clown Prince of Crime choice. The Brave and the Bold will show an elderly Bruce Wayne who is Robin's father, therefore this is not a problem. Even so, the Joker may be Bruce's senior, making the DCU version unique. So, Willem Dafoe is one of the best candidates.

1. Willem Dafoe Is Still Perfect For The Joker

Oswald Cobblepot is flamboyant, which Danny DeVito and Colin Farrell have portrayed well. Farrell's Penguin fits Reeves' The Batman trilogy's darker overtones, but he also provides a humorous touch that meshes well with Penguin's almost farcical character style, which suits Jack Black.

 2. Jack Black Would Be A Memorable Penguin

Donald Glover's tonal range and critical praise demonstrate his acting ability. Donald Glover might offer vitality to The Riddler, evocative of his Community role as Troy, while sacrificing his naïveté for his performance as Rich in The Martian and adding his genuine stage presence.

 3. Donald Glover's Chaotic Energy Is Reminiscent Of Riddler

Anthony Starr's Homelander is a menacing "evil Superman" with a contagious smile. His unsettling dichotomy makes him so appealing and Starr so well-suited to play an unexpected villain with two sides. Starr also played two identical twins, Jethro and Van West, in Outrageous Fortune, a comic criminal drama.

4. Anthony Starr Can Portray The Duality Of Two-Face

After auditioning for the role of Catwoman in Matt Reeves' The Batman, Ana de Armas lost out to Zoë Kravitz. In No Time To Die, Ana de Armas defeated many high-heeled goons as Agent Paloma, demonstrating her physical strength.

 5. Ana De Armas Deserves Another Shot As Catwoman

Crispin Glover plays hauntingly evil roles. He could play Doctor Jonathan Crane, played masterfully by Cillian Murphy in Batman Begins, with his unsettling performance as Mr. World in American Gods

6. Crispin Glover Would Make A Terrifying Scarecrow

Mr. Freeze, a sympathetic villain, went from a hammy cold persona to one of comic books' most tragic villain origins. Dr. Victor Fries would do anything to save his cryogenically frozen wife, Nora. Haley was lauded for his portrayal as Rorschach in 2009's Watchmen, a single-minded but multidimensional character. While

7. Jackie Earle Haley Would Perfectly Convey The Tortured Mr. Freeze

Syrian actor Ghassan Massoud played Saladin in Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven and Ammand the Corsair in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. He plays R'as Al Ghul with a wizened visage and seriousness that matches his origins, which are more comical than Liam Neeson's.

8. R'as Al Ghul Could Be Accurately Portrayed By Ghassan Massoud

To say the obvious, Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn is hard to beat, and her DCU role may continue. The DCU could do worse than casting Mia Goth, a horror star, in her absence. The DCU is unlikely to follow The Dark Knight's recent tone, but Mia Goth's ability to play manic and unstable characters makes her a viable Harley Quinn.

9. Mia Goth Could Bring Something New To Harley Quinn

Édgar Ramírez is known for his appearances in TV shows, such as Carlos the Jackal in Carlos and Gianni Versace in American Crime Story. He is taller than Tom Hardy, but his massive build and acting skills match Bane's brains.
