Inside Taylor Swift's epic $17million Rhode Island 'holiday house'

Taylor Swift's Rhode Island refuge, lovingly known as "Holiday House," is more than just a residence; it's a statement of grandeur and history.

This 11,000-square-foot mansion, purchased for an astonishing $17.75 million in 2013 and paid for totally with cash by Taylor, is a monument to her wealth and taste.

The property, formally known as High Watch, is located at the highest point of Watch Hill and boasts over 700 feet of quiet private coastline.

Built in 1929, the eight-bedroom home has eight fireplaces, 10 bathrooms, and sits on 5.23 acres of ground. Its opulent amenities include a spacious back patio and a large pool,

making it an excellent choice for organizing unforgettable events. Before Taylor's tenure, the mansion was notably owned by oil heiress Rebekah Harkness for more than three decades.

Although Taylor and Rebekah never met, the former's song The Last Great American Dynasty honors her extravagant lifestyle and the house's rich history.

Taylor has converted the hilltop property into the ultimate Fourth of July destination, called "Taymerica" by her and her A-list friends, in honor of Rebekah's passion for Gatsby-style parties.

While Taylor has been reluctant in posting photographs of her holiday home, her pals have not hesitated to share glimpses of the expensive parties on social media.
