Five Freshmen on FSU's Football Team Who Made a Strong Impression During Their Last Tour of Duty

The Florida State Seminoles' "Tour of Duty" offseason workouts ended in time for spring camp at the end of March.

With many players leaving for the NFL last season, newcomers and upperclassmen are looking to replace various slots.

Offense and defense fought in several conditioning drills throughout the session, establishing mutual support as new leaders developed and veterans continued to build the squad

The media saw the team for the first time all offseason and since the Orange Bowl at the exercise.

Here are five newbies who impressed NoleGameday.

Remember that the media only had 75 minutes to see the roster because they were only allowed on a part of the field.

Freshman running back Kam Davis looks like a 4-star talent. Big at 5'10", 220 pounds, he runs with balance and low center of gravity.

Although it's early spring and the sample size was tiny, it will be hard to keep him off the field as he develops in the offensive system.
