Early in the Qatar WEC, Both Ferrari LMH Cars Experience Difficulty  

Miguel Molina led the Qatar 1812Km race in the #50 Ferrari 499P following a strong start from fourth on the grid.  

Nico Muller in the #93 Peugeot 9X8 passed Molina at Turn 2 30 minutes into the race.  

Ferrari called Molina in for a fuel and tire stop early, but the 35-year-old crossed the white line at the pit entry, resulting in a drive-through penalty.  

Molina returned to the pits to serve the penalty, dropping to 15th.  

Soon after, James Calado's #51 car's rear detached on the approach to Turn 16, presumably owing to collision with a United Autosports McLaren 720S GT3 entering Turn 15.  

The trailing #59 McLaren was perilously close to the detached rear wing.  

Calado recovered the vehicle to the pits, but the rear bodywork change dropped him,
