Chad Stahelski, director of "John Wick," is focusing on making original action films after signing a first-look deal with Lionsgate.

Four-time “John Wick” filmmaker Chad Stahelski has struck a multi-year, first-look production deal with Lionsgate and his business 87Eleven Entertainment.

The contract extends Stahelski's association with Lionsgate and lets him develop unique action films.

Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson announced the deal Wednesday.

Fogelson remarked, “Chad and his team at 87Eleven Entertainment are profoundly talented filmmakers and creative collaborators.”

They elevate every project they work on, and we look to Chad to offer us the greatest fresh original action projects we can collaborate on and develop into hits and franchises.”

Lionsgate appointed Stahelski to supervise the “John Wick” and “Highlander” properties across all platforms weeks earlier.

The Henry Cavill-starring version of “Highlander” is his next feature.

Featuring Ana de Armas, “Ballerina” is the next “John Wick” spinoff.
